Intense New Story
Batman: Arkham City™ takes place a year after the events in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Quincy Sharp is the new elected Mayor in town having taken credit for Batman's defeat of the Joker. Quincy has since created a massive 'prison' by walling off the slum district of Arkam City, where inmates roam free under the close scrutiny of Dr Hugo Strange and his security forces. Batman is forced to enter Arkham City as he learns of Catwoman's capture by the good guy-turned-villan Two-Face and his army of cronies.

Batman: Arkham City™ isn't just about Batman! You'll be able to play as Catwoman and put the hurt on criminal elements with her whip, incredible speed and agility. Then there are her special claw attacks...rawr! Batman: Arkham City™ lets players explore the dark, dank and dangerous streets in an area up to five times larger than featured in Batman: Arkham Asylum! With so much freedom to explore the 'city' as you please, you'll be able to swoop across rooftops and even 'Dive Bomb' on those hapless criminal thugs with righteous fury. New fighting moves and gadgets have been included –you can even shoot your Grapple Gun at your enemies whilst gliding...hmm.
